De Volkskrant, Retour van de slaaptrein naar Moskou:
“Sinds 1993 heeft Nederland weer een rechtstreekse spoorverbinding met Moskou. De ‘Rollende Rus’ vertrok tussen 1960 en 1993 van Hoek van Holland naar Moskou. Destijds werd de trein te duur, maar nu zien de treinmaatschappijen toch weer brood in deze, en andere nachtverbindingen vanuit Amsterdam.
Elke dag vertrekken drie slaaptreinen. Om vijf uur ’s middags vertrekt de trein naar Milaan, om half negen ‘s avonds gaat de trein naar Zürich. En om 19.03 uur staat de slaaptrein naar Moskou klaar.”

“Op 20 oktober 1982 vond in Moskou mogelijk de grootste voetbalramp uit de geschiedenis plaats bij de wedstrijd Spartak Moskou – HFC Haarlem. De Sovjetautoriteiten deden er destijds alles aan om deze ramp in het Loezjniki-stadion te verzwijgen. Voor het televisieprogramma Andere Tijden reconstrueerde Stanzafilm de gebeurtenissen tijdens die verschrikkelijke avond in Moskou. Na 25 jaar wordt eindelijk duidelijk wat zich werkelijk heeft afgespeeld op de trappen van Vak C.”
